GMO'S HISTORY
Unfortunately,
in my personal sadness at the moment when a man dared to play God and
genetic engineering since 1975 further began massing on food, this
food has become anything but healthy. Threats from reaching the food,
mutagenicity, allergies, potential carcinogenicity, resistance to
antibiotics, loss of immunity constant bringing the virus and parts
thereof which are as virulent as can be because they are without outer
layer, use mosaic virus of cauliflower virus , tobacco and others,
the ones that opened the door of morbidity to the other retro viruses
such as AIDS, hepatitis and others are alarming, so the European
Council is certainly not decided to import the GMO moratorium on
24th 06 1999 just like that, and later on, the changed policy of
"traceability",that follows product from the place it grew
up to the place where it was used or sold, BUT ONLY AFTER THE GENETIC
ENGINEERING ALTERED FOOD EVIDENCE THAT IS NOT HARMFUL, as yet no the
manufacturer of that food is not proven, not given any evidences
about, so it practically returns to the moratorium.
But lets follow the path down
the time line:

the MIT-u, but
however, since the results were not the sort of
expected,
the scientists are those few results amended to the
better looking like,
because the acceptance of
the report will give them free access to the

Workshop in Prague, issued obligatory instructions, the
minimum
precaution measures on the handling of GMOs, safety
measures
to be respected by every worker who works with
GMOs,
in order to protect their own health. You're welcome
to make yours
own conclusion, if GMOs are so harm,
that they do not even have to
eat them, but WE MUST, and
because in this country we are not
given
the right of the choice?
-10. 08 1998th Dr. Arpad
Pusztai of the Rowett Institute
(The famous sheep Dolly) published
on the BBC
research results with GM potatoes, which are
results
damaging the stomach tissue, liver, brain,
immune system, the
resultes concerned world public. But Dr.
Pusztai was forced into
retirement, and his
experimental results have been declared proven
scientifically
unfounded. 22.06 2002 "The Guardian"
published
articles "The British government admits tampering
with
Arpad Pusztai incident. "
-1998. Medical Chamber of
Berlin in cooperation with
Greenpeace issued the report with
releases from 08.09 1998
which warns of risks to health from
GM
products, namely corn, which has Novartis GM altered gens
into
the gene of resistance to antibiotics ampicillin,
amoxicilin and
penicillin strains.
- 12.03 in 1999, the Daily Express, UK,
announces that
a 50 percent increase in allergies in the country
1998,
compared to 1997, caused GM soybeans, following the
report
of York Nutrition
Laboratory.
-Agrokor imported into Croatia, in March 1999
famous
33 000 tons of soybeans from Brazil, but no one knows what
kind of
the product it was for it does not track the shipment
Certificate of
Origin of goods or Certificate of Quality (that
is
minimum documentation required in the normal
trading) issued
by the Chamber of Commerce of Brazil.
After expressed negative
public reaction, the document appeared but
suspects were not erased that
goods are not GM.
- In May 1999 The Croatian Bioethical
Commission issued a licence
for experiment with "only 1 kg of
Pioneer's GM
corn! " The same experiment Austria has refused
to implement

-24. 06 1999 Council of Europe adopted the
moratorium on the sale
GMOs, provided that each GMO product must
formerly undergo tests
that can take up to 10 years.
-The same
year "Feral Tribune" printed article "Night of

corn cobs, "warning that the famous 1 kg
"Pioneer's
GM seed corn" for which the
Bioethical Commission issued a
permit planting, actually
was magical seed when only 1 kg of seeds
succeeded to be
sown on the area in 6 locations, of which only one
in
Belje had 400 ha! This article had never been
denied. Where
the corn finished, what happened to the
corn stalks, roots,
stems,
the public never knew. As if it does not matter to
us...

Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety to the Convention
on
Biological Diversity. In the beginning it was voted

countries, unanimously.
-21. 05 2000 Second German program,
ZDF, reports
on transfer of genes from GM plants to bacteria and
fungi.
The report is based on the findings of Professor. Hans
Heinrich
Kaatz's from the Bee Institut from the University of
Jena,
and discusses the transition of genes of GM canola in the
intestinal
flora of bees. "GM oilseed rape is uncontrolled

accepted the recommendation by
Greenpeace not to conduct experiments
by Golden Rice, not only
because it contains too low
amount of beta carotene, but also
resistance gene
antibiotic. Golden Rice has received additional
examination of
next 5 years to when it will be assumed
that
produce an environmentally friendly product.

U.S. are selling products of gene

GM goes negative, although they are
not. The tests were

in
Italian baby food, baby food formula Alsoy,
producer Nestle.
Nestle issued statement in February 2000
to adopt request of
customers and will not use GM
products for the production of
products intended
to Italian market.

are found by Greenpeace
on the markets in Belgium,
Louxemburg,
Philippines, Tailand, Hong Kong ...

Greenpeace report says that in
Sutter County, USA grow GM rice
with human
genes, in which at least two of them originated by
mothers
milk. Breeding is done for the pharmaceutical
industry,
secretly, without any measures for the protection of the
environment.
Conventionally grown rice undergoing GM
contamination,
Californian company exported to Japan and
Turkey.
Similar experiments of growing GM crops for
pharmaceutical
products are conducted in Canada and France. At
least
20 countries produced medicines from GM raw materials.

10 2001 Greenpeace has warned the governments of the world

UN Biosafety Protocol meeting, the global referee center
of maize
Mexico, is subjected to genetic
pollution, which is observed in
at least 15 locations in
states of Oaxaca, Puebla and Guanajuato.

claims that the product is safe for consumption Sze

Cheung, Greeneace, was bitterly
ruled:
"Monsanto
does not know basic information about their genetic
GM soybeans,
how they can promise that it's safe? "
Tomato puree
loses trade license issued by
the EC of EU, 2002. although the
raw materials for this product
disappeared from the
shelves
of the world's markets in 1998. It was the first GMO
product
technology on the market since 1994 in the USA and two
years
later in the EU.
-2005. In 'Food and Chemical
Technology' published
a partial report of side effects when
consuming
MON 863, which printed the Independent on 22 05

which admits that the rats fed by this corn
showed
abnormalities of internal organs, sex organs,
kidney and blood
changes associated with the decline
of the immunity.
A full
report was published just after the Greenpeace
won a lawsuit in
court in Munster, 2005, which was

trade license to GMO corn,

I just can not understand how this phosphorus
metabolic products
in the flesh, are not shown, as well
ignoring the fact of the radioactivity of phosphorus.

rice on the

-GM salmon eat 'only' 2.5 x more and much
faster
grows, but has increased a factor insulin

submitted a request for placing on the market,

reports on the Bavarian honey polluted by the
the GM corn pollen, so angry
Bavarians, proud on their clean
nature had to labeled it as
GMO product.
As the pollen can travel
hundreds thousands of kilometers,
its not clear from which
direction the pollution came.
-18 10 2011, The Guardian
reports on license for production of GM salmon
and trade license granted by USDA to
AquaBounty company against bail of a half
million US DOLL,although its
clear that they do not have that money
because report suggest they
are close to bankrupcy.
The GM technology was
developed by The Newfoundland's Memorial
University, who issued data
that the salmon is 98 pct sterile,
grows 6x faster and eats
accordingly
more than conventional salmon
of wild waters.
Alaska immediately banned
sale and shipment of GM salmon to protect
their naturally grown salmon,
and their wild waters from it.
Guess where this salmon will
be grown?
Panama!!!
The reason why is obvious!
Of course, information about
the "security" GM "food" is far
more than I
have here stated. Far too many to
would be overlooked. And far too
much evidence of
harmfulness to ignore them.
It
is very interesting topic thema brought by book genetcs
Dr.
Mae-Wan Ho, how and whether they are actually viruses
promoters
such as mosaic virus and tobacco or cauliflower mosaic viruses
open
avenues for the spread of HIV, hepatitis B and morbidity
of
cancer. At that theory that brings concern for the future
generations will only geneticists
need to give a evaluated
response.
Slightly less than one hundred European regions declared
themselves as GM
free, and even entire states like Switzerland,
Poland, Hungary,
Austria, and there is also all Croatian Counties
led by first one, Istria.
Germany has refused to seed Monsanto's
MON 810 maize despite a permit issued
by the Council of Europe,
but in the same time received permission BASF's GM
potato 'for
industrial purposes only' ... we will see where the limits of the
industrial purpose are.
Bio diesel is nothing cheaper than
gasoline, and the soot is not environmentally friendly, but it is
by
me, a cheap excuse for forcing cultivation of GM canola.
An
application for a permit cultivation of GM salmon was pulled by the
applicant,
why, I guess we'll find out someday.
Noting that
grows 2x faster and is much more aggressive,
it has been proved
sterile, and if it is released into natural waters over time,
mating
with natural species will give sterile offspring, and with such an
appetite,
twice as fast growing and eating so much, I wonder how
long it will take time to seriously threaten
fish species in the
Atlantic, Pacific... for example ..
And because GM "food"
can not be food until the
tests proved that it is harmless, that
is what is
issues, not damaging human organisms, not
pollute
the environment, that would not endanger other species...
To this goal there will be a
long way!
So for the time being GM is untested, unsafe,
harming
health and safety of the environment should not stack on
the
anyone's plate. I did not want to eat it, and even almost

percent of the population of this country neither!
And it is our right to
decide, our basic right!

blueberries or black currants and not egg plant tomatoes.The worst
problem are the hot spots, the place of altered DNA where the sequences
applied and attached can easily, too easily detached and attach to some

how does it comes that we are talking always again and again the same facts. As the duck's school( pointing out on the children poem we learnt by heart at first class of elementary where was said that although the huge teachers efforts the little ducks were producing only their typical sound and have not learnt anything new.
The GM maize IS HARMFUL, proven by test and in court.The INDEPENDENT published the article on May 22nd 2005 that conducted tests show the rats fed by GM maize has shown the abnormalities of the inner organ, sex organs and blood parameters. The Bacillus thuringiensis that is built in into, produces crystalline proteins types cry and cyt that shows off the larvicide effects for what purpose they are built into DNA of tobacco, maize, tomato... This bacteria has never been the part of human feeding chain for it is the soil bacteria, and mankind never in its history has eaten soil what ever famine it was exposed to. Therefore people do not have enzymes to metabolize soil bacteria, it was recognized by body as the foreign attacker, that alerts immune system, but triggering the lasting allergies is the minor problem.
The so called HOT SPOTS are the places where was the alteration of DNA produced, this spots ARE UNSTABLE, so happen that the link brakes and the sequences of producers of alteration can attach to the other DNA, such as the other bacteria or viruses, for people have them in their stomach, and the creation of the super bacteria or super virus is the possible reality.
Greenpeace has proven in German court that Monsanto's MON type maize is harmful and did not let the bad results come into publicity, so the sentence ordered the complete results will be let known to the readers.
From the article is not visible who will be granted the first license for seeding, for apart Monsanto, European producers Syngenta and Bayer also tests and produces GM maize.
But I know that the petition against GM 'food' with the million signatures has been handed to the European minister of health on December 9th 2010.
If this is such a harmless product how does it come that Germany phased out seeding it, France as well, Hungary and Austria refused even to test it for preserving the intact environment.
But we have damaged our environment by tests with 1 kg the Pioneer's GM maize, that got license for the tests to be conducted by ONLY 1 kg seeds, but in farm BELJE, there were seeded 400 hectares by it.
Therefore I have pointed out in my articles that this ' only 1 kg of maize seeds' was not only GM but also magic seeds when 'ONLY 1 KG OF GM MAIZE' succeeded to seed 400 hectares! Magically indeed!
Where this GM maize finished? In flour and maize products that we have eaten not knowing it.
Although in the named article was printed the statement that body has mechanism to improve damages happen by GM products, this is simply not true.
There was the test conducted in London on July 17th 2001 where the volunteers were served only ONE MEAL of the GM food. The test showed changes to the digestive organs.
How many such meals we have eaten by now not knowing it, I dare not to think about...
It is so easy to close the eyes on the presented evidences, but I send herewith the message to the gentleman who said that there is no danger coming out from such a food, that they do exists, the danger, for the often used mosaic viruses of tobacco or cauliflower that do alteration, belongs to the group of the so called retro viruses such as aids is; so please read the book Dr. Mae Wan Ho: GM - Dream or Nightmare

I am asking myself who sits in EC of EU: for UK complained on air pollution by Sahara sand!
IF Sahara sand can get to UK, the GM pollen, far easier, can get from Spain to Croatia, Poland...
By this, our efforts to eat organic foods seems goes in vain...
The petition against GM crops, signed by the million citizens of EU and handed to the health minister of EU government on December 9th 2010, seems like being farce!
